Our growing community and school district has experienced over 2,800 students-athletes participating in North Dakota sanctioned activities. Enthusiastic participation by our youth provides lifelong learning and leadership experiences, preparing them for future success. Increased participation in the middle and high school athletics has limited the availability of viable practice and performance fields for students in our community. Overall, artificial turf will increase students' access to outdoor spaces for athletic, co-curricular and educational needs. Davies will receive an artificial turf field that will host physical education classes and serve as the home for the school's soccer and football teams, and increase practice space for soccer, football, track, cross-country, softball and baseball, all while also supporting community youth programs that require competitive green space.
